The check-in process was and continues to be a nightmare for us beginning with the phone call to make contact and follow-up visits. A critical appointment was made by phone from the office to set us up before the doctor leaves for vacation, to discuss testing results and upon followup with MyChart via Everett Clinic/Providence, NO appointments are listed! I'll take some of the blame for waiting to check MYCHART, but can't reach anyone who can help us tonight, and the appointment is early tomorrow. Since waiting on the phone is NOT an option, we can drive down there faster to get someone to help. High anxiety for us.

Diagnosed 8 years ago. Everyone that is on my care team is professional and friendly. Always be your own best advocate. Learn all you can about your diagnosis and be sure to ALWAYS ask questions. If you're not getting answers, find someone to advocate for you.

After my treatment here (chemo, surgery & radiation) I asked my doctor when they would run tests to verify my cancer hadn't spread - especially since I was high risk. The doctor told me he would check me physically every six months. Well, I moved to another state and my new Oncologist ordered a blood test and an MRI immediately and the cancer had spread. If I was still at Providence I wouldn't know the cancer returned in less than a year. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The technology is totally behind the times here and the doctors are NOT proactive. ******* Nurses don't return phone calls. Was actually told by one nurse practitioner, Liz, that the "squeaky wheel" gets the grease. I should have known then I would have problems. Totally unacceptable level of care.
