Emmett worked very hard to assure an excellent experience for us, and it absolutely was an excellent experience. He was attentive and thorough. He gave us expert advice that helped us to boost our credit score among other things. He never made us feel like we were inconveniencing him, and he was always available to answer questions and provide information. Emmett's plan of having us go through underwriting before we even found a home made it possible for us to close in just 13 days from the date of our offer (only 12 days after mutual acceptance) and clearly demonstrated the expertise he has in the entire process. Emmett and his team at Academy Mortgage were fantastic to work with during our recent purchase of our condominium. He was key in navigating through a somewhat complicated bridge loan acquisition that was the best solution for our needs and budget. He worked with the bridge loan company to get us the best deal available. Communication with Emmett was always top-notch and we appreciate that Emmett was always available in person, by phone, text or email. He always returned any calls if he wasnt available right then and there to talk, which was rare.
