I loved my time at Hazel! The location is great close to a few cafes and restaurants and Costco! The facilities were always maintained very well and are decorated so beautifully. My floor was always quiet respectful and friendly neighbors.

My family have been living here for nearly two years now and the ongoing noise issue with my upstairs neighbors still has not been resolved. I've brought this issue to the leasing office and management many times but there has been very little progress in fixing the problem. My upstairs neighbor constantly violates quiet hours and is very inconsiderate of the noise they make. As of recently, they have begun to retaliate against me by purposely stomping loudly.

When I first moved in, I was persuaded by the management to choose the 'leaselock' option, which cost $29/month instead of a lump sum deposit. GRE also confirmed in writing that the leaselock covered all cleaning charges, and that's why I decided to opt for it. However, upon moving out in January 2024, the management sent me a $220 bill for professional cleaning. When I inquired about it, they claimed to have implemented a mandatory $250 cleaning charge for all tenants at move-out, a policy that started after my move-in. I am currently in an ongoing dispute with Hazel (GRE) on this issue for over a month. Despite the apartment being decent, I strongly advise against choosing Hazel (GRE) due to their dishonest practices, deceiving tenants to pay for services that offer no value. It is extortion. To all potential tenants, be cautious leaselock is a scam. Do not trust everything the management tells you.

My Truck was stolen right out of a guest parking spot at 1am on the 26th of January. Completely stolen. Not like someone took something out of it. They took the entire vehicle. A professional 3 person crew was operating right here. No I was not inside of the gate but directly in front of the leasing office where there's cameras none the less. However, after seeing people easily follow others into the gate I don't think it would have mattered. While they did help me and the police look at the security video my truck is still stolen and probably gone forever. I thought there was supposed to be security here but they weren't very vigilant that night if they exist at all. This is not a reflection on the office staff as they were extremely helpful, minus security. This is a review about property safety. Which I feel is non-existent especially after being told packages get stolen and vehicle break-ins have occurred before.
