        Absolutely horrified by the amount of roaches and ants we ended up killing before checking out early. If you scroll through reviews, you will see this has been a problem for awhile, so it is obvious the franchisee is unwilling to spend the money on cleanliness and extermination. We have stayed at hotels up and down the boardwalk for decades and never had this issue before, so it appears to be unique to this hotel. Towels were stained, rooms were obviously not maintained well. Check in staff were excellent and went above and beyond, so I believe it to be a poor owner, not poor employees. Will definitely never stay here again, absolutely ruined our stay and our plans.

        This stay is our 3rd but will probably be our last. The hot water in the sink is a trickle and takes forever to get hot. What used to be a stupendous breakfast, and the reason we returned, has become standard hotel fare; very disappointing as that breakfast was their draw. The location is fantastic and the view fantastic but with no restaurant on site we will probably book elsewhere. Older but maintained. If the great breakfast returned, so would we!
