Probably one of the worst holiday inns Ive stayed in traveling as a lineman . Makes you feel like you are in an old frat house , needs new management and some serious renovations .
Rooms: Commode barely worked . No plunger , fridge barely stayed cold

The hotel is old and needs a makeover. The staff I encountered were friendly however I got the impression they were understaffed. We and other people outside our group who were staying there had issues as well. We had 2 people in the room that didn't have extra sets of towels. The rooms are spacious tho. would I stay here again?! Probably not, but I was here on business and it was company-paid. Notable mention the food that they catered for our company was a 10/10. Sauted vegetables, grilled chicken with mushrooms , wedge fries very tender beef in some type of barbecue sauce and salad with rolls. Dessert was amazing as well pecan pie

Ive been staying in a lot of hotels recently, but this one takes the cake for being the worst one. We arrived at 4:30pm on Friday for checking set for 4pm, not only was our room not ready, but also the kid helping us get checked in could care LESS. He was checking his phone while speaking with us and would give us responses like I dont know man, thats not my issue and we are just overbooked. And I understand that them being overbooked is not his fault, but it was the way he handled it. We were put into a room with two queens instead of a king, which is fine, its just the way it had to be. We didnt have hot water one of the two nights, there was stuff (Im assuming food) stuck to the walls of the room next to the dining table, the baseboards were peeling up in certain spots, the towel hooks were coming out of the wall in the bathroom, there was only one working elevator in the entire building, etc. it was just overall not a great stay. But! The only redeeming quality was the woman that did our check out. She listened to our concerns and tried to give us credits/points to our rewards account. Shes the only reason they didnt get zero stars in the customer service department. I understand that the hotel is under renovations (if I wouldve known this prior to booking I probably would have found another hotel) but I feel like you need to choose between bad service and bad rooms.
