Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel

Nice place to stay on the beach, very friendly atmosphere.

This Sheraton used to be a good value for VA Beach oceanfront. I stayed here in September of 2022 and it was one of the worst hotel stays Ive ever had. One of my favorite things to do while staying oceanfront is to have the balcony open in the morning and enjoy the ocean breeze in the room. Despite saying that you cant smoke on the balcony, there were multiple rooms below us that had people chain smoking cigarettes all day. We called the lobby to let them know and they seemed to not care at all. We asked for the manager and tried submitting complaints to Marriott and no one cared. The housekeeping was terrible and we were given sheets that had what appeared to be blood stains on them. Dont stay here unless you like chain smoking cigarettes and sleeping with dirty blood-stained sheets!

Great rooms, lots of space and amenities. We got a cabana room and the view is amazing. We' will be back. Nearby activities: Great restaurants in walking distance

I am so relieved that the reviews here did not sway our decision. We chose this place to spend a few days on the beach for my son's 10th birthday and it was a great experience. All of the staff were friendly and informative and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. At check-in Mari was kind enough to tell us about the dolphin excursion and didn't hesitate to provide all the tools we needed when we returned with two splinters in a left foot. Small details like these really help to make a trip memorable so we truly appreciate the consideration

Worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. You will get charged an arm and a leg for anything. The bathrooms are so small. It's not kid friendly there wasn't a way to give my daughter a bath they didn't have tub stoppers. AC was broken the first night. Beds at the holiday inn are better. Honestly I've had a better time at a red roof inn. You pay a couple extra hundreds of bucks for a brand. Not worth it. You couldn't pay me to stay here again. You can't even sit on the toilet and close the door you have to tuck yourself in the corner then shut it.
