        The VNB staff is always courteous and timely with me, and is always available to help. The front desk staff remember me and make me feel like a valued guest, as well as the bankers stopping to greet me as well. We have our loan and business accounts through VNB and are thrilled to have a Richmond location for immediate needs instead of going to Charlottesville or having virtual conversations.

        VNB has been great to work with every since I switched over from Chesapeake. They have assisted me with refinancing, lines of credit, and checking accounts. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and John Dane is especially helpful with everything I need.

        All of the negatives of a big bank without any of the positives. They operate exactly like Bank of America but have the worst online banking imaginable and no atm locations. If thats what youre looking for just stick with bofa, Wells Fargo, etc.. If youre looking for a community bank luckily there are plenty of good ones available in Richmond.
