I wish my experience was as nice as the 21 people before me. As a Latino, I have never been more disrespected in my entire life. I work for one of Richmond's top banks and had a half day. I went to the Patterson Branch and really liked the interior decor of this branch. I was greeted by the only two staff members-- since the branch was bare. I handed the teller my ID and it took her forever to find my account. (I am willing to bet there is NO other person with my name all across FCB' footprint.) I wondered if there was a problem and that is when the teller started to Reg. P me about my account as if my VADL REAL ID was not valid. (She asked me questions she could easily see in her MAXX system.) Then, I took out my Permanent Resident Card and gave it to the teller. That's when she asked me, "I see you're from Mxico--how do you like living in America?!" I told her that was not only rude to ask but very unprofessional!! To which she replied, "C'mon, don't go making this racist!" She finally found my account and believed it was actually me. All I wanted to do is exchange $200 of rolled Presidential dollar coins into bills and that is when the teller told me to go to my bank and have that done there. She then proceeded to write my account number on every roll of coins-- that's when I called the Service Manager over because writing my account number on these rolls should be against FCB's policy... ain't no telling what would happen if my account number were compromised by anyone who gets these rolls. I left this branch highly upset and shaking because I could NOT believe this unprofessional teller acts like this. I left her teller line without getting her name-- but I am willing to bet corporate can find her name quick. I am a very forgiving person and demand a written apology sent to me!!

Carolyn Evans is the BEST! My wife and I drove from Williamsburg to the Patterson Ave location to do some account maintenance we couldn't do online. Carolyn greeted us with enthusiasm and kept us engaged in conversation while she worked expertly to complete the things we needed. A totally delightful experience!

If my experience 5 minutes ago is any indication of this Branch offices customer service I will gladly and happily recommend doing business with them. Due to a mix-up with my company I had to at the last minute cash a payroll check and got there right at 5:00 p.m. . On a Friday at closing time these two most wonderful women went the extra mile to make sure that this check was cashed. Thank you so very much!!

Waited forever to be told not enough cash at bank to cash a check and sent to another. Plan on spending anywhere from 30mins to an hour at either location
