Renaissance Portsmouth-Norfolk Waterfront Hotel

Hotel is going through renovations. The hotel no longer has a concise lounge. Note: I stayed here back in 2021. My room was clean and I had a great view. The room did come with a coffee set-up and two bottles of water. However, there was no microwave in the room. Staff was friendly. Rooms: Clean and great view. Nearby activities: Near the ferry. $4.00 round-trip. $4.75 for all day. It takes you to the other side, where there's restaurants, sports bar, chocolate shop, smoothies, etc,.

Magnificent service and stay...from bell boy to manager, we were given top-notch service that will bring us back after the renovations.

Cheap renovation in rooms. The work is very sloppy. Beds very uncomfortable. Never again. Advertising the room as river view, but it's mostly a view of a rusy roof. You actually have to press your head against the window and twist it to the left in order to get a glimpse of the river.not worth 300 a nite Rooms: Paint peeling from wall

This is a beautiful newly renovated water front hotel! Hotel is immaculately clean and the staff are super friendly. The General Manager and his team were outstanding and awesome. I highly recommend this hotel. Location is very convenient and close to interstate! Great hotel leaving us beautiful memories! Rooms: Newly renovated modern looking excellent rooms! Safety: Very safe hotel
