Hampton Inn Petersburg Ft. Gregg Adams

The building is undergoing an expansion and remodel. However, my room was clean and the staff is friendly & helpful.

Had a mixup with a big name site booking at this hotel arrived very late in the evening and Jonathan at the front desk was wonderful to assist with our reservation which did not come through on the booking site. Jonathan was attentive and prompt to resolve for us and smiling the whole time. Definitely an asset to this hotel. P.S. stayed on the 4th floor in one of newly renovated rooms and it was really nice. Breakfast was good

DO NOT STAY HERE! We booked our room for a friends wedding. When we got there the room had not been touched. The bed was not made, towels all over the bathroom floor, etc. The front desk staff was very nice, I know it wasnt their fault; however, I told them that the room wasnt cleaned. He said the cleaning crew left for the evening so he was going to give me a spare room except those werent cleaned either. The only thing they could offer were clean sheets and towels for me to change myself or a refund. Obviously I took the refund and my husband and I had to drive 3hrs back home bc all other hotels in the area were booked. Even the front desk staff told me to make sure to complain in hopes of cleaning the place up. I called the corporate office about this and they could have cared less.
