My visit to Dr Wichmans office is what I believe every visit to a doctors office should aspire to be. I arrived on-time, to find that Im able to be immediately seen after my first-time patient check-in. No waiting 30 minutes past your apptmt time. Then, Dr Wichman was right there to greet me and take me to the office - I didnt have to wait like 20 more minutes for the doctor. He attentively listened to my symptoms and explained what tests he will run and their purpose. He also offered to answer any questions I have. This is in stark contrast to the typical office visit, where the doctor (or more likely, the nurse) is sitting in front of the computer, endlessly filling out forms in the EHR, barely interfacing with the patient, only to leave after like 3 minutes. Next Dr Wichman made sure I was comfortable on the exam table and told me exactly what to expect to feel in these tests - these are electric shocks, so theyll be not much different than a static shock. He also explained how these tests work, what hes measuring for, and what those metrics imply about the condition of my nerve. This was top-tier customer service. And at the conclusion of the tests, Dr Wichman told me the results and what they implied about my condition. He also did an ultrasound just to confirm his suspicions, and he explained how my ailment shows up in the imaging. He gave me some recommendations and explained why those will help me solve my problem. Lastly, he told me he hopes I wont have to visit his office again. While nobody loves to visit the doctors office and it feels so strange to write such a glowing review about it, I feel that the shock of the completely different experience I had here vs the typical office visit really made a positive impression on me.

Dr. Wichman does an amazing job with his patients, and actually spends quality time with you. I have received amazing feedback from my patients that have worked with Dr. Wichman and I will continue to refer his way. If you are tired of being a number and want a healthcare professional that will listen and do whats best for you, then this is the place for you!

Dr. Wichman is a consummate professional with great bedside manner and a clear passion within his scope of practice. Great experience, and explains everything that he is doing in great detail to make his patients feel comfortable with sometimes uncomfortable procedures. Id highly recommend him without hesitation.
