C&F Bank

Refused to allow me to open a checking account due to me telling them i would be depositing many money orders. Their "preferred savings" rates are 1.5-2% points worse than bigger banks. This is a bank for those who prefer a smiling face, in lieu of actually good benefits and interest rates. This is not a bank for those are are financially literate.

I want to give a special thanks to Mr Dixion and Mrs Humphreys , I was in distress today , with getting my Will notarized , my vehicle alternator failed , so I walked to bank , called and told them I was walking as fast as I could and under 288 overpass at 4 58 . Mr Dixon went out of his way to help me when I arrived a few minutes after closing and Mrs Humphreys . They made a small part of my bad day better and this is why I have banked with this branch forever . Beyound my expectations indeed today . Thank you from a greatfull faithful customer. GERALD MCNAIR

I'm just in disbelief of the lack of compassion shown by this bank in hard times like this, not only have I lost my job due to covid19, but now my bank account was closed due to being in the negative, and what is more upsetting about it is I have a guaranteed, GUARANTEED tax check for auto deposit, I WILL NEVER recommend C&F and for Karen, I wont need it to be up to the bank branch on if you guys will consider keeping my account open, I ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT A DOUBT WILL BE TAKING MY ACCOUNT ELSEWHERE, not only is it unbelievable the amount of late fees they tack on my account was negative $173 I owe them close to $500, unreal so just wanting everyone to know C&F BANK will drop you even in that hardest timeS. BEWARE!!!!!! BANK ELSEWHERE
