Mr. Cordar, When you called our location for an estimate on your Audi TT you acknowledged that the dealership indicated the 02 sensor was seized or cross threaded into the exhaust manifold catalytic converter assembly. Our store manager tried to convey that unfortunately we are not able to cut that out and put a new sensor port in as it is on a catalytic converter manifold assembly and violates EPA guidelines as it would require welding the new port . I believe the dealer would have also indicated that a manifold converter assembly is the only proper repair. In your conversation with the store manager you did in fact reference that we should have some kind of specialty tool for that. Unfortunately it's not a matter of tooling it is a matter of EPA guideline. I'm very sorry the store manager's explanation was not sufficient and came across with attitude.
