Called Toftoy Plumbing last week .Explained our problem.York gave an estimate and we worked out a time for repair . He called an hour before arrival to confirm. Arrived on time. Completed work much to our satisfaction. Explained his work and why.Which I appreciated. The bill was less than his original estimate .Very pleased. Definitely would recommend Toftoy Plumbing. York, the owner, has been dispatched through my home warranty company three times now to handle separate issues. Each time York has come to service our home he has showed up prepared with all the needed materials (and more) to fixthe present issue. York takes his time to do a thorough job, using the best quality items, and will explain and check in with you throughout the process. I have never doubted his knowledge and passion for what he does. I booked Mr. Toftoy through the Google interface on my phone for a non-emergency repair. He did mention to me on the phone he does not wear a mask on site, and while this was not an issue for me, it was professional of him to make that clear up front. He arrived on site on time and ready to go. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made recommendations, and explained why. The estimate was reasonable, and I never got the feeling he was trying to soak me (sorry). In this case, the fill valve was original, and the easiest and most effective fix was to replace the whole assembly. He installed what seems like a high-quality replacement -- one that will probably outlast me! When finished, he patiently explained what he'd done and we settled up. He seems very knowledgeable and experienced in his trade, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone in the Fredericksburg area. Services: Toilet repair, Plumbing leak detection
