I highly recommend them for any tree work. Reasonably priced, professional, hard working crew, worth every penny. I had trees hanging over my roof on my house, six dead trees around my farm, stumps sticking out of the ground and they cut them, chipped them and hauled it all away all in one day. Do not hire Woods Tree Service. They make commitments to complete a service and do not honor those commitments . The owner refuses to communicate with their customers. He strung us along for weeks and promised he would take care of the stump, knowing full well he could not take care of it when he said he would. I have been a home owner for 15 years, and have hired multiple contractors to complete various projects. This has to be up there with one of the worst experiences I have had. It is stunning how little regard they  had for us as a potential customer, telling me that "do you think I care about your bullshit $200 job," when I confronted him about his horrible service-or lack thereof.Stay away from Woods Tree Service

From the start I found Mr Wood's very easy to reach and communicate with. Considering that I had some very specific requirements, Mr Woods's ongoing communication was very professional and clear; even going so far as to touch base over the weekend regarding a possible rain delay (which wound up not being needed, but I appreciate being in the loop)Daniel and his crew arrived at the agreed upon time, were respectful and professional to the property and myself, and delivered the agreed upon work to and even above my expectations. I was particularly pleased when at a point where the nature of the job changed significantly and unexpectedly, negotiations on how to adjust the contract were quick, fair, and simple.Overall I am very satisfied with having called Wood's and will do so again should the need arise.

This is the third time we have used Daniel and his crew in Fredericksburg. Very professional all round. They are friendly, smile, and seem to enjoy working together. The first two times were for removal of 50' trees too close to our house in the front and back. This third time was for removal of 50' trees outback near our 33' greenhouse and barns. Daniel pointed out one tree from the back that was rotted inside. We had only seen it from the front due to location. It could have really caused severe damage. He even covered our greenhouse with tarps, just in case. All the wood was cut and neatly stacked so we can share with friends who have fireplaces. Daniel's prices have always been reasonable, and work done in one day. As I look out my back window at the abundance of trees, I know we will be calling Daniel again.
