Asian Joint - Thai Chinese Cuisine

I was excited to try a halal Thai option as we do not have many in northern va. I must say I was underwhelmed. The hostess was very nice and the place was clean and tidy (although no restrooms). However the food was lacking in flavor. Thai food is known for flavor and Ive tried dozens of restaurants, but this felt watered down and bland. The spice levels were all over the place. Mild seemed like they omitted spice altogether whereas medium was way too spicy. It was worth a try but flavors need a major revamp.

Such a cute place!! If you want to eat there for dinner make sure to call and make a reservation as there's only 4 tables inside. Very very cute aesthetic and staff was so friendly and prepared our food fairly quickly. The food overall was SO FRESH, you can clearly taste that and I really love that. We tried the money bags, shumai, pad Thai w/ shrimp & panang curry with chicken as well and Thai icea tea, lychee lemonade and lemon ginger tea which was all phenomenal. The drinks were really good and I'd come back for those alone. Mango sticky rice was SO YUMMY; one of my favourite desserts. Overall a 10/10 easily and I'll definitely be back, even if I just pick up and go which seemed to be popular. Highly reccomend! - Insta @ SpicyAivy

Clean, good ambiance, great service and even better food! Food came out hot and timely. We had a wonderful experience and I am looking forward to bringing my guests here in the future. I HIGHLY recommend the sesame chicken!
