        Easy access from I 95, one of the nicest Holiday Inn Expresses I have stayed in. Local restaurants close by with good eats. I highly recommend this property if you need to stay in Chester.

        In hindsight, this stop had no redeeming qualities for $150 per night. There was nothing special about it. The service at checking in took a while as I was 4th in line and one employee.. 5 stars a person does not wait six minutes to check-in. The room was nothing special. The floor vinyl in the doorway was peeling up. The plastic handle for the window shade was leaning against a wall. The shower valve had to be spun two revolutions to get hot water, as long as you backed off and found that 1-inch sweet spot. Too much this way...ice cold....1.25 inches that was and you are scalded. The noises from above were not loud but there were noticeable thuds of doors and hard walking all around. Breakfast would have been the typical Holiday Inn Express food if someone had been assigned to do it but was busy unloading a delivery. The pancake machine was empty and I lifted it to the open position to attract attention. When I left 15 to 20 minutes later it was still open. I only saw one woman pushing a cart loaded with supplies. I had no pancakes this day. Overall I see nothing special here. I wish I had driven to the next Holiday Inn, as I like the points. This stop was mediocre at best and I was not offered even a single bottle of water when I checked in....which is a perk of being a member.

        Note to self: Loud, party hotel. Unwelcoming check-in. Insufficient parking. Very loud bar across the other side of Rt 10 (not the hotel's fault, just something to be aware of, if you like to sleep at night). Rooms are fine, but rooms and hotel had multiple maintenance/neglect issues. Breakfast was fine. Not a bad hotel, just not a good one. Poor value. Stay elsewhere next time.
