        This is our 3rd time back to Candlewood Chesapeake. They always great me and my team with a warm welcome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. THANK YOU to Melinda and her Team for all you do. Rooms: Rooms are very clean and also extra towels are on hand if needed Nearby activities: Chuck Cheese less than a mile away and Sports bars are in the same area Bubbas and Woodies Safety: Safety is key for me and my crew so the area was very secure Walkability: Burger King located nearly on the property as we as Fruit Splash Clean eats Food & drinks: Food and drinks are available in the lobby area and staff is very helpful

        Comfortable enough, but the rooms need some major maintenance. Door handles with sharp protrusions, closet doors falling off hinges, parts falling off AC units... It's verging on unsafe. The couch was threadbare, and there was random hair in the bathroom, but overall it seemed clean.
