I drove up to Blacksburg after getting out of work at 11pm. It was 3.5 hour ride. I called ahead to make sure they knew I was arriving. I arrived exhausted from working and driving. I was on the third floor at the end. I got to my room the key did not work. Went all the way back down to desk to get a new key, that key did not work, had to go back down again.Finally, I made the desk attendant come open the door. The front desk attendant advised me the key software was not working and I would have to get up in the am to get a key. I want to bed about 330 am. I had to get up to get a key. The same thing happened in the am. I had to do two trips and then I told the attendant I was not going back down, to please figure it out. I had to stay up and wait till this was all figured out. Needless to say I barely got any sleep. I will say the breakfast was excellent. The staff was kind and respectful as well. Food & drinks: Breakfast was excellent. Good variety for those who are healthy eaters.
