Red Carpet Inn Blacksburg, VA

Very outdated motel, older, basic, nothing special or fancy BUT great service, clean, no issues or concerns encountered (took time For my very tech savvy son to figure out the tv, the info in the room wasnt very accurate) but otherwise, we had a pleasant stay. Reasonable cost, close by to VT which was our ultimate destination and while the walls arent super sound proof, we slept well. Nearby activities: Close to downtown and VT Safety: I didnt feel there were any safety concerns Food & drinks: Close to many restaurants

Visited for one night only and that was for a VT visit. The initial approach to the parking lot is extremely steep, causing my bumper to scrape. Be careful when visiting. Nearby activities: VT

Hidden gem for sure. Wasnt expecting a nice stay at all but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. Mattress were very comfy and clean with very nice sheets, room and bathroom were extremely clean and smelled great, and the staff treated us like family. It was so refreshing to experience such kindness from owners who clearly care so much about the quality of their hotel and their guests. Even offered to drive us to the stadium for a game. Overall, great experience and would 100% stay again!
