The Woods at Birchwood

The Woods at Birchwood are part of a planned 55+ community made up of apartments, condos, townhomes, villas, and detached homes. Birchwood is part of the Brambleton community development. As of April 2023, there are 3 existing buildings in The Woods with 83 units. These 3 buildings are designated as affordable dwelling units. These units lease for a lower rate than the market for qualified households. There are 5 more buildings planned at market rates. Total of over 200 units planned are a mix of 1 bed/bath and 2 bed/bath units with garages. The Woods units are spacious and well appointed. Garages and additional storage available too. Plenty of surface parking for guests and a grill/picnic pavilion on site. There is a commercial development across the street and access to bus stops near apartments and across the street to access Brambleton town center and Ashburn Metro station. Drawback is property management team is often slow to respond. Some residents have experienced poor workmanship from construction teams that cause longer term challenges. Also, access to buildings is by key fob or code. Still issues with some doors not working though unlocked doors have been addressed.

Beautiful, quite, clean much space, staff is friendly very honest and respectful. Love my place. The club house is beautiful as well, much to do . Fitness, two pools, theater and much more. Proud to be Residing here.
