me and my friend have been talking to justin the bartender and he's so funny and amazing we forgot about our game of life!! the board games are free btw but this place has also been playing my favorite songs i wish i could live here

We found this place while searching for board game cafes. We were worried the vibe would be too much "bar" and not enough "board games" and unfortunately that rang true for our Saturday night visit. With two private events going on and people there to watch the game, it was impossible to find a table so we sat on some stools in the bar area, which did not provide great space for playing a game.
My partner had the paloma which was too sweet for them so they did not end up drinking it. The beers were good (Czech Mate Pilsner and Deuces Wild IPA).
The game we squeezed in was Float - brand new and in good condition which was awesome ! The food was decent for bar snacking (mozz sticks and a cheese board), but no plates, glasses, or trash was ever cleared from our area. Other people were even taking used items from their own tables and adding it to our area - frustrating and gross. We saw a bug crawling on the dirty dishes.
Overall, the experience was mediocre but I am happy to have such a concept close by and will likely try again on a less chaotic night.
