The Ashley at RiverHouse Apartments

I'm a current resident who has lived here for 4 years. I am out of the country and I am trying to reserve a guest suite for my aunt that I was told was available. They are being incredibly rude to my elderly aunt. I thought this was because they didn't think I was the one making the reservation, but I emailed them and they are still not helping us make the reservation. The front desk used to be incredibly friendly, but I guess the staff must have left or something while I was away.

They sent me a $1400 carpet replacement bill for what I consider normal wear and tear of daily living in a carpeted apartment. In my case, it was a stain. I do not smoke. Nothing is burned. No easily noticeable colors. They admitted that the contractor deliberately chose to not try washing the carpet first and just instead go straight to the replacement - and of course billed me for it. Go on reading to find at least 2 other recent reviews under the same carpet grievance. Its like the current greedy management will try to get you on your last dime.

Building is old but conveniently located and units are spacious for the price, but avoid a carpeted unit at all costs. We were charged an insane amount after move out (after using a commercial carpet cleaner).

Riverhouse has been my home for the past year, and I have no complaints. While I *would* adore a lower price for rent, it has been a pleasant experience being a resident. Possibly my biggest highlight of my experience thus far has been Rufus, our front desk agent. I am always greeted with a smile, and he is always extremely helpful whenever I have a question, comment, or concern. He has been an absolute pleasure, and he is part of what makes Riverhouse as welcoming as it is.

Ive had a great time living here and the main reason is definitely the staff! Maintenance always come and fix things within 2 business days. The guy managing packages were also super awesome, his memory especially. I secretly think he remembers every single package. 24/7 front desk is very helpful, especially Yassine. He always try to help as quick as he can and always be extremely nice and patient with any requests.
