Ten Twenty North Quincy Apartments

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU CONSIDER TOURING OR LIVING HERE! SAFETY CONCERNS!
I toured 1020 apartments yesterday with my sister and had an unacceptable experience.
I arrived at the leasing office inside the Library Courts building. I received keys to two units and was instructed to start a self-guided tour at the 1020 building next door.
The first apartment on the 7th floor had a welcome mat outside the door, I could hear sounds coming from a TV and when I knocked, I heard someone making shuffling noises inside the apartment. I did not feel comfortable using the key to enter for safety reasons.
*This is minor but also noteworthy. The on floor laundry unit consists of a closet with two washers and two dryers crammed inside that charge $1.85 per cycle*
Upon entering the 10th floor apartment, I was met with a flooded apartment with no flooring. There was brown and blue sludge all over the floor and splattered on the walls and giant utility floor fans running. It was so wet and slippery that my sister slid and fell when trying to exit.

I immediately returned to the leasing office and stated what I encountered on the 7th floor apartment. I was told by Michelle Gerez (Leasing Manager) Theres no one in that apartment, they just left their things there.
VERY unsettling that this was the response I received from management when it CLEARLY appeared that someone is living in the unit that management claimed was vacant.
I then shared what I encountered on the 10th floor apartment. That it was flooded, with no floors, and industrial fans on. Ms. Gerez said to me Flooded? Theyre turning it over.
With this being her response to clear issues on my tour, I can only imagine the nightmare of renting here.
This experience was not only unacceptable but extremely unsafe.
I hope this review prevents someone from having to experience what I did at 1020 Apartments in Arlington, VA.

This place is the hidden gem in Arlington. The apartments are super nice and actually affordable. The management is great. Theyre super nice and attentive to the tenants. Would recommend
