Great apartment, great location, and a FANTASTIC building manager Mary. Very upfront, no weird charges, can see staying here for a long time

Parc View is a pleasant apartment complex. The new leasing manager, Mary, has made it even better. She is very responsive and earnest in listening to requests and addressing them. Recently, we inquired about a possible maintenance of the apartment. Mary promptly came over with Nick to inspect the state of the carpet and bathroom. She arranged the maintenance which involved bathroom re-glazing & carpet cleaning/stretching in a short period of time. Both Mary and Nick made sure that the maintenance was completed properly. We are very pleased with Mary and Nick's excellent customer service!

They lied to us about what was in the apartment so we never moved in. They cancelled our lease and refunded us the first months rent we had to pay in advance 3 months later they sent debt collectors after us to get their money back. Dont even waste your time applying here - and avoid any Gate Hudson apartments.

I have lived here for about 4 years now, and have really enjoyed it. I had lived in Lofts 590 before but felt that this was the affordable, less pretentious cousin to the "luxury" alternatives. Theres no pool, but the windows are huge, the patios are cute, there's a ton of light, and lots of closet space in the unit. The maintenance person, Nick, is a gem, and the front desk staff, from Randy to new arrival Nick, have all been very reasonable and understanding. It's an older building, and the owners have had to put in repairs (like the roof) and its central heating/cooling, so i have lots of fans and a space heater to get by. The location is great, the other tenants are wonderful (families, older residents, lots of cute dogs) and it feels much more like a neighborhood when its tucked away next to the library. EDIT: Apparently, management raised the rental prices on some of the un-renovated units just because they thought the market (e.g. AWS) would take it. They had supposedly been planning on renovating all of them. If you're checking out apartments here and find one with rugs, etc. it's an older unit. I was paying ~1800 for a 1 bedroom here. So keep that in mind when i say "affordable, non-luxury" above. They're also having trouble keeping management staff around - Nick had left before I moved out (too bad! he seemed so nice) and so my move out was just me dropping off the keys in the rent drop box after no communication from management.
