Great concept however the English lady behind the desk was a complete jerk she told a group of girls to leave. The young girls planned and were so excited to visit this place. They were proper and quite. Unfortunately they met Ms Grumpy from England who straight faced said LEAVE for no good reason. Great concept but horrible person working there. No remorse. Just plain mean for no reason. Highly suggest the owners get involved and dispense of the rude employee. Never will return. Can't recommend this place. It's unfortunate cause it's a great idea.

Hi Justin, we are sorry that you had this experience during Tinker Time at UpCycle today. Tinker Time is a free-to-the-public program that UpCycle offers every Saturday from 2 - 4 PM. Due to our limited resources and table space, we are unable to accommodate groups. This is stated on our website and on signage throughout our shop. Groups and scout troops may inquire with our program coordinator about scheduling a private event by sending an email to [email protected] takes great pride in the work that our shop staff and all of our other employees do to keep our mission and day-to-day operations intact. We are sorry that you had a bad experience today, but we encourage you to visit us again soon.

I LOVE going to Upcycle! I'm a preschool teacher, and I can always find things there for my classroom. The staff are always nice, friendly, and helpful; and most times they give me suggestions on what I might be able to use some items for (other than what the intended use is.)
