        Very expensive.he will charge you 70 dollars.just to fix small hook for a necklace....and he doesn't do a good job because the necklace came apart in 2 weeks .... Maryland shop cost only 20 dollars.......which is a fair price.

      If I did quote you $ 70 for a clasp replacement, it must be a 14k gold one. I do offer clasps in different materials, like in gold- filled or sterling silver not in gold plated materials. I have tried to be fair and trustworthy to my customers last 43 years but am sorry to disappoint you in any way .
