this was a nice hotel with great staff. david was very friendly and helped me with any questions. there were some yellow stains on the bedding and some towels which was mildly unsettling but i dont have super high standards lol.. the main reason i gave a low rating was because of the hot tub. i went in the hot tub for two nights and the chlorine levels were so high it gave me a chemical burn. my whole body is peeling and developed rashes. i really hope they add less chlorine in the future. i dont have sensitive skin and im not prone to rashes so this was shocking. im still dealing with extremely dry skin and red marks from the burns almost a week later. dont go in the hot tub if you dont want dry skin at the least and chemical burns at the most.

I used to think people that traveled with their own bedding were strange & neurotic but after 4 stays at this hotel in the last 2 months, I think I might start bringing my own sheets to hotels. I actually live near by but when a neighbor's water problems became my water problems, I chose this hotel because it's convenient location. Three out of my four stays, I have slept in beds with fitted sheets pilling into oblivion. I've actually wondered if they forgot the sheet and I was just sleeping some sort of mattress cover. The pillow cases and top sheets are smooth like sheets normally are but prepare for some exfoliation from your fitted sheet if you get a room with a king bed. I'd add pictures but Google won't let me. Annoying linens situation aside, it is an overall decent place. Seems clean enough, no trouble parking, crazy hot water (a plus to me) and the complimentary breakfast is nice. The takeaway here is to manage your expectations, & never purchase any Marriott bedding from those marketing emails! Rooms: Decent size. The microwave & mini fride is good for Mulit day stays. Walkability: Not in a walkable location. Is along side a busy road with few cross walks. A car is needed.

UPDATE: We were told we would be compensated for our 2 rooms. Not 1 room. They first told my daughter that when she went down to show bleached shirt and grandsons burns. Then when we checked out I asked why our rooms showed charges and lady at desk said that the manager had to fix those. Since when did ROOMS become a singular room after we left? Jade S. So sorry to hear about your chemical burns! Our whole family had some type of skin irritation. My grandson had it the worst and he got his from the pool! We we were there from March 20-26th and they ended up closing the pool area down until they fixed issue. Sounds like they waited until we left and opened it back up! We were supposed to be comped for both rooms but so far they only comp 1 room. Now the hotel-Other than the pool area-Breakfast was plentiful and great! Maids did a great job cleaning our room! Staff was great! Other than the missing General Manager who has yet to call my daughter to see how my grandson is doing and was suppose to contact my daughter while we were there and never did. She had her staff pass messages on. They even offered to pay for for my grandson going to the emergency room, since my daughter is a nurse she was able to avoid that additional cost to the hotel. Oh and I absolutely HATED their program that runs their tv! I thought my batteries to both TV's were going bad, so I had them change the batteries, (I am taking it for granted that they did change the batteries). It would take at the least 5 minutes to just to get to a channel. I ended up watching TV on my laptop! Food & drinks: Kripsy Kreme Donuts is across the street!

Jade, we appreciate your kind words about our welcoming team members, particularly David, who made your stay pleasant. It's concerning, however, to hear you had issues related to room cleanliness and discomfort with our hot tub. We strive to provide a relaxing environment and these points certainly don't reflect that goal. Your feedback is invaluable and will be shared with our maintenance team to rectify any issues and optimize our future guests' experience. We sincerely hope you consider us for your future visits to showcase improvements made based on your feedback.

Kathy, it's regrettable that your family experienced discomfort due to the pool situation during your visit. We sincerely value your comfort and safety, and necessary steps were taken to rectify this problem. We'd like to note that our GM shut the pool down as soon as she was informed of the situation, emptied the entire pool, reissued the chemicals and opened it back after.Regarding your room compensation, we believed she refunded the full amount of $1,000 USD to the room you were occupying. Please note though that she had a few appointments that had her off property and we apologize for any inconvenience faced regarding communication. Also, be assured that we did additional training for staff in putting and checking the balance of the chemicals used for the pool. We are also willing to offer points you can use at any property of your choice. On a brighter note, it's heartening to hear your positive compensation about the bountiful breakfast, the cleanliness of your room maintained by our diligent team members, and their overall friendly service.Your feedback about our television system is also noted. Nonetheless, we value guest feedback as it assists us in bettering our services for future stays. Should your travels bring you back to our vicinity, we hope to provide an improved experience.
