Best location for DC/MD visit. Centrally located in Old Town Alexandria with walking distance to so many cute restaurants, bars and shopping. Can easily get to/from waterfront National Harbor area from this location. Hotel offers valet parking and two restaurant options. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Our room was recently remodeled, spacious and very comfortable. As an added bonus, hotel is pet friendly for a nominal fee and even provided a dog bed for my fur baby.

I enjoyed staying at the hotel from March 15th to March 18th. During my stay, I had the privilege of working with Solomon, who provided exceptional customer service. He went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was a success. I would also like to acknowledge Ashley, who was fantastic as well. All of the staff was great! It is an excellent hotel with great amenities and outstanding customer service. The rooms are very nice, and the interior and exterior of the hotel were very clean. There are many excellent amenities like free bike rentals and evening happy hours. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro station and only five miles from the airport. I absolutely loved this hotel and can't wait to visit again. Thank you, Lorien Hotel & Spa, for the excellent customer service and memorable experience. Rooms: The rooms were very nice and clean and the suites were spacious. All of the rooms were nicely decorated. Nearby activities: Cafes, Restaurants, Pubs, Museums and much more Safety: King Street in Old Town Alexandria was very safe. We were able to venture out without fear for our safety Walkability: Conveniently located to everything you need (restaurants, pubs, boutiques, banks, ice cream parlors, metro station, and much more). Everything is within walking distance, and if you don't want to walk, there is a free trolley and bus that travels up and down King Street.
