My family and I are very grateful to Marelin Guzmn Morroble for all her hard work and dedication she put into the process of my move. They are terrible apartments. I have been living here for 9 years and I have been telling them for 7 months about the bathroom ceiling that is falling and they don't look for it to be repaired. They just say tomorrow and that tomorrow never comes but they are good at getting paid.

INHABITABLE-RODENTS! BLACK MOLD! GANG ACTIVITY/HIGH CRIME! TRASH EVERYWHERE! UNRESPONSIVE STAFF! See pictures! Our apartment had a disgusting, strong odor coming from behind/underneath the refrigerator and stove until my husband found a dead mouse that was almost skeletal. We put in work orders and they were ignored for weeks-months. Maintenance finally came in and patched up the mouse holes in the wall as well as gathered up the decaying remains, but my husband was forced to clean up all of the feces underneath the stove even though the the apartments worker was there and saw it. We were also told that wed have to clean up all the poop in the casing of the fridge even though it was there before we moved in. I continuously cleaned droppings off the kitchen floor every week when I swept and our stuff (including a full trash bag) was eaten through. When I pressed the issue to one of the maintenance guys, I was told that all of the apartments around here had them. I dont understand how that is acceptable, especially when they are living in the ventilation system and their feces & saliva carry diseases. We were given glue traps, which only caught one of the mice and our dog got caught in it. All of the rest, we had to either catch ourselves or ignore and live with. It got to a point where they were out and about in BROAD DAYLIGHT. Again, tried contacting management several times through phone and email only to be ignored. DRUG DEALS are going on within the complex constantly. Police were outside almost everyday. The words BLOODS and CRIPS are engraved in the sidewalk outside. People were constantly walking around high. The month we moved in, Richmond Highway was shut down for several days due to a barricaded hostage situation. Really, really rough place. Not to mention the beer cans and trash everywhere outside. The dumpsters were overflowing too. Aside from that, there is no in unit washer/dryer, so you must go down several stories and pay the machines with a special card that has to be loaded at the leasing office. The machines only fit a minuscule amount of laundry and doing a load costs around $6-8 since most of them must be dried twice. The laundry room had BLACK MOLD everywhere. My husband was constantly getting sick. The fitness center is $10/month for a broken treadmill, a bike, and a set of hand weights (I forget how heavy). I didnt even go in since it looked so run down and DIRTY from the windows outside. This place is NOT worth $1700 a month. For the safety and health of your family, PLEASE go elsewhere. The cherry on top was continuing to call the front office about 10x to terminate our lease after the year ended and the phone never being picked up. I sent multiple emails as well but could not go in person since I work during the day. They told us that despite our continuous efforts to reach them, because we didnt reach them on time, wed have to pay another month to get out of it. It was their fault for never answering their phone or responding to my emails. I took leave to go in and speak to the owner, telling her how unacceptable it was to pay an extra month for not terminating the lease on time when I could not get ahold of them. At least she got the point and didnt make us pay the extra thousands, but it was a huge hassle and I found myself jumping through hoops even being able to leave.
