Pintu, the professional that greeted me for most of my nights, was so professional and kind. This is the best hotel you could possibly stay in when you visit Vermont. Great location, great rooms, and the greatest staff. Many thanks to Pintu for being so kind, organized, prompt, intelligent, and personal. Great job Marriot & Pintu! Will stay again.

This Fairfield is a modest hotel that has been recently refurbished. The hotel is and feels like its from an earlier era. That doesnt mean it is not a nice hotel. While smallish with narrow hallways and smaller rooms, the hotel is clean and comfortable. Our beds and bedding seemed new and were pretty comfy. We found our room to be odorless. The hallways still had the smell of new carpet. The location is close to shopping, restaurants and EV charging. Overall we were very comfortable. THE HOTEL ABSOLUTELY NEEDS A LIGHTED SIGN BY THE ENTRANCE. THE ENTRY ROAD IS NEARLY INVISIBLE AT NIGHT.

I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago. Upon checking in, I made sure I would have a smoke free room. I was told that the entire hotel is smoke free. When exiting the elevator, my wife and I could smell an absolutely horrible stench of pot. We entered our room and immediately smelled very strong deodorizer and noticed a car deodorizer tree hanging from the entry door. The room was not as clean as we are used to for a Marriott. When turning on the heater, we got that immediate smoke smell. So much for smoke free. My wife went down to the front desk and mentioned this to them, she was told that it must be a cleaning agent. We checked out the next morning, paid in full. 2 days later, I notice a $150.00 charge on my credit card from the hotel. I immediately called the hotel to find out what the charge is for. To my surprise, I was told that it is a smoking fee. I politely told the man that my wife and I do not smoke. He told me that I will have to talk to the manager, but she is busy at the moment. He took down my information and informed me that she will call me back. No call, My 2nd call gave me the same results. On my 3rd call, he told me that he had spoken to the manager, she said I smoked in the room and that is that then hung up on me. My wife then called and asked for the manger but was hung up on. Being a business owner myself, I have stayed at many many Marriott hotels and Marriott brands for many years, for business and pleasure and never had such a horrible experience as this one. This hotel is by far the absolute worst hotel in the Marriott family that I have ever stayed at. I give this hotel 0 stars and suggest that Marriott remove it from there list of hotels to save them and their loyal bonvoy members the embarrassment. I truly can't remember the last time I left a review. But the absolute discust that I have that this hotel is considered a Marriott warranted my review.
