Maplecroft Bed and Breakfast

Very nice clean place, very good breakfast great people. I would come here in a heartbeat before going to a large hotel.

We travel to Barre Vermont for Christmas with the family. We stayed at Maplecroft B&B. It was a very home like feeling staying there. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The owner Caryn is very professional, friendly and a great cook. We had a very delicious farm to table breakfast that was herb scrambled eggs with sausage patty, English muffins and fresh fruit. There was fresh OJ and cranberry juice, decaf or regular coffee, ice water, yogurt and homemade granola. Also offered was preserves, jam and jellies from local farms. We highly recommend staying here and we will be back again!

If you have the opportunity, definitely book your next stay in the Barre/Montpelier area at the Maplecroft! You will find an incredibly hospitable host, wonderful breakfast meals with locally sourced ingredients, very comfortable rooms with excellent amenities, not to mention the very convenient location - the Maplecroft has it all! We stayed here for the holiday weekend of 2023 and would love to repeat the experience once more! Cannot recommend this place enough.

I was impressed! Super comfortable, warm and quiet, Caryn is friendly, personable and a great source of information for the surrounding area. Hands down the best B and B we have stayed at. I cant say enough good about her. Walkability: Five minute walk to downtown

Caryn is the BEST. We stayed in the suite above the garage (Robert Burns) and it is huge, with a full kitchen and plenty of supplies. If you're on Google like we were looking for a place to stay, you've found it. Breakfast was amazing and the whole atmosphere was perfect.
