After 20 years with this company. My daughter was in a car accident back in August. I was told that I would have to deal with the claims myself because that's how progressive preferred it. The lady I spoke with even acted a little put out that she had to print my policy out because her printer was out of paper. Told me that we could do it over the phone but I would probably prefer the comfort of my own home. The way I handled my policy was going somewhere else. Here I am in March and still trying to close this case and am now dealing with a bill collector. Some months I paid over $400. & when I needed an agent she said I had to deal with it myself. Not sure what I was paying all that money for. Things have gone down hill sense Mrs. Shoemaker retired. Maybe I could have tried to speak to another agent but I didn't really feel like I should have to. A good agency shouldn't be hit or miss. You should just have agents that do their jobs.
