    If you ever need maintenance good luck getting them to show up. Ive had a ceiling completely broke through from a pipe leak that happened, its now been a year since it happened, and I still have the hole in my ceiling and no lights in my laundry room because of it. Theres also been things Ive ended up having to fix my self because they wouldnt respond. Theyve also told the owner things have been fixed when they havent. Ive been patiently waiting an entire year now for things to get fixed and now really starting to get frustrated.

    We used this company for the first year of renting our 4,000 sq ft home while temporarily living out of state. They hardly lifted a finger for us and consistently took many attempts before responding. I would never recommend them to another property owner. I'm ending our contract after the first year of very little help from them. If anything, it was more work having them involved and after 6 months I chose to manage everything myself. Even if I was a more hands-off landlord, I still wouldn't want them in-charge because my valuable tenants would have to deal with them.

    Secure Property Management as well as the owner of the house we rented did not give us back the deposit they said they would. They were hard to work with, unresponsive, the house was filthy, cobwebs everywhere, dust, fingerprints, mud, dirt, holes in the walls and on the floors and carpets. The toilet seats were also broken and gross, we replaced them with soft closing ones as soon as we moved in, Shower curtain rods since they were rusty and falling apart, and others. We had to have the carpets cleaned after we moved in since the house was such a disaster. We fixed some of the bigger holes since they would not. They said the owner did not want to be contacted and would not fix anything. When we moved in we called them to let them know how filthy the house was and they told us cleaning was subjective. We gave them a deposit of $2,400 this included a non-refundable pet deposit of $500 and non-refundable leasing fee of $250 they gave us $1,000 back when they said it would be the full deposit of $1,650. It also took them over a month to return the $1,000 and only after we had called them about sending it. The house was 2143 Sego Street in West Haven, Utah. When we moved out we made sure it was cleaner than when we moved in and that the carpets were cleaned. We cleaned everything including the walls, windows, and carpets. Secure Property Management is not trustworthy, they will not give you back your money, horrible to work with, and will not fix things. Do NOT rent, buy, or work with them! They will screw you over!

    Do not plan on getting your deposit back. We were ina month to month, the owner decided to sale due to the housing market. Cant blame her she will make good money. However due to Covid and the pricing sky rocketing find a new place Has been insane. We spent a week getting house just cleaned for them. So that we could plan on getting some of the refund back to help look for a new spot. Now we knew we would not be getting the full amount back due to a small hole in wall and trim damage to 1 door. But 1300 was the deposit nothing returned. Also the sprinklers broke no one fixed them, the grass was dying so we started manually water until hoa threatened to fine us, so we stopped and they also are Putting that on the renters as well. Also they also made us start paying sewer which we were not required to do the first 1.5 so our rent went up to start paying that. Which we were fine with, however on further investigation they did not pay the extra funds to the sewer( I dont know where those funds went). And they said we were behind on the sewer and took that from the deposit as well even though we have been paying it from the rent. Now I will say in fairness during our time there there has been MGMT changes but to be asked to leave during Covid and rent sky rocketing, and we made sure house was clean for them. To be treated like this at the end and not get anything back from deposit is very frustrating. Make sure you have all your documents and ever email and communication documented if you rent through them.
