      Learning Time Academy

      Kiddie Academy has the motto "where kids come first", and we stick by that. We believe that while children are away from their primary care giver that they should feel safe and be encouraged to learn and grow. Our goal is to provide a safe learning environment in which children can progress in all of the developmental domains. At Kiddie Academy we provide many opportunities for them to do this. We have a private preschool at our facility. We also provide a Summer camp for school age children during summer break. Come in and see why so many parents and children love coming to our program. We are Family Owned and Operated, Licensed and Insured, and the director has degree on early childhood.

      image Honestly had high expectations of this place, given they were voted best day care 4 years in a row and a lot of these other reviews are nothing but good things. I didnt have a great experience with these guys. The staff is really nice I will give them that. But my daughter would come home with diaper rashes almost every week. If they are changing diapers every two hours like they say, this would not happen. Since shes been out of learning time academy, she has not had a diaper rash for weeks. One time, I picked her up with a poopy diaper. Dont know how long she was sitting in it, could be a mistake, theyre only humans I get things happen but that shouldnt happen. One time we dropped off 30 diapers on a Friday and by Monday we got a text saying she needs more diapers or they will use their diapers and will charge us for it. Just a lot of things that shouldnt be happening when youre paying almost $1,000 a month (before the rates recently increased)

      Thank you for your review. We are required by the state to check or change the children every two hours. We give you updates about this in our app, so if there was ever a question you could have asked the teachers or even me and we could have figured it out. Also, because we are required to check/change diapers every two hours we do go through a few more diapers then parents sometimes do at home. As for the cost, we are very similar to many of the daycares in the area. With the federal grants going away for child care centers, I didn’t want to lower my staff back to 10 dollars an hour. I know they couldn’t survive on that. My teachers are very hard working, take great care of the children in their care, and really do love the kids. They all show up every day and sometimes have to work long days, but their/our primary goal is to make sure all the kids are taken care of. I had to raise the rates to make sure I took care of my staff. The diaper rash issue was never brought up to me and I was never given the opportunity to come up with a plan to fix it.
