Stacy and the gang have been taking care of my little guy since he was 2 months old. It was stressful being a first time mom to trust strangers, but they have been so patient with me. My son is a celebrity there it seems, since everyone has watched him grow, and he LOVES going! The main lobby is a bit disheveled, and some staff can use some hospitality training, but at the end of the day they do what matters and my kid is happy, healthy, and safe. We moved recently, and are still making the commute so that our son goes to this school. Haven't found anything better yet. PLUS the discount program means the world in today's economy. One more thing, they do school photos (see below). Thanks Stacy!

While Im not sure how to word this without coming as a rude but here it goes. I went to tour this facility and see about putting my daughter in for part time care. I rang the buzzer and waited for someone to come to the door. To my surprise it was a 4 year old student who opened the door for me. Upon entering, I was taken aback by the amount of clutter in the lobby area, and the old musty smell that filled the building. I immediately was asked (not kindly) what I needed. I explained to the worker that I was told to come in anytime for a tour. She rolled her eyes at me and started yelling for another worker. I stood next to the fish tank while this lady yelled and then griped about how the director wasnt there and they shouldnt be telling people to come whenever. I didnt know what to say, so I didnt say anything at all. A few minutes later, another work came over to me and told me shed take me on a tour. We went to the twos class where I was shocked at how dark and enclosed the classroom was. It only had a few windows and they were covered by drapes. The toys they had were old and broken or missing pieces. I also noticed as I looked around that the rubber wall trim was peeling to reveal large cracks in the walls. We only stayed a few minutes before we were told to wait in the lobby for the assistant director. While waiting, we heard workers yelling at the other kids, kids screaming at each other and a weird amount of water running. My daughter wanted to walk upstairs to see the other rooms and so we did. I was shocked to find a worker standing the doorway of the classroom, on her phone while the kids were playing with the sink, the kids were getting water everywhere and instead of redirecting them, she was just yelling at them to stop. I also noticed in this room how dirty it felt. The rubber trim was coming off, the sinks were very old and an odor coming from them. Again, most of the toys were old or broken. There were kids climbing on top of play kitchens, tables, chairs, etc and once again the teacher did nothing. I took my daughter back down to the lobby and the assistant director had arrived back. She quickly handed me a packet of papers but didnt answer any questions I had. I asked if I could pack my daughter a lunch if we enrolled her, she said yes but then the paperwork says no outside food or drink. The two workers that were there were not dressed appropriately for being daycare workers. One was in a belly shirt and low ride jeans with rips and stains, the other was in a shirt that was completely see through and was too busy on her phone to play with the children. Overall, it felt very unprofessional, unclean and unsafe. This was the first daycare I toured as my daughter has been at home with me since she was born. Needless to say, this place left a bad taste in my mouth and my nerves are even more shot from seeing how the children were treated. Im not sure how they got voted Best in Roy because I would not trust them with my child for a second.

We love this day care. They have been amazing with our son. The app they use to update throughout the day is great. The staff members are very friendly and they all treat my son like one of their own. Highly recommend this place

I absolutely adore kiddie academy, it took me so long to be able to trust anyone with my babies but then I found this daycare and they earned my trust with my babies. They take amazing care of them, treat my babies like their own and make sure my babies are well taken care of. Plus my babies absolutely love all of the teachers that work there. They have obviously their favorites but they love them all and plus kiddie academy hires not just anyone they actually hire the best so I don't have to stress about a new teacher arriving and being rude to my babies. Plus they have an app that tells you what your child is doing, what they ate and how they are doing through the day and they write messages too, it is wonderful! If it wasn't for this daycare I probably would of never been able to work because I do not trust my babies with anyone really. The daycare is like a second home to my kids. Thank you so much!

About
Learning Time Academy

Learning Time Academy has the motto "where kids come first", and we stick by that. We believe that while children are away from their primary care giver that they should feel safe and be encouraged to learn and grow. Our goal is to provide a safe learning environment in which children can progress in all of the developmental domains. At Learning Time Academy we provide many opportunities for them to do this. We have a private preschool at our facility. We also provide a Summer camp for school age children during summer break. Come in and see why so many parents and children love coming to our program. We are Family Owned and Operated, Licensed and Insured, and the director has degree on early childhood.
