My wife has been a client for twenty years. I have been one for three years. I ordered two sets of glasses in the beginning of January, which we paid for in full directly. I got a notification that one or more of my glasses were ready. I called yesterday to clarify if both were ready, or if one was ready. The lady on the phone that I normally deal with was pleasant and found out the information I needed, which was one was ready and the other would be done likely on Monday. I confirmed I would call on Monday to see if they were available to pick up. After that call, I received an email that a $35 fee was processed without our knowledge or confirmation of what card we have on file. Usually, the business calls to ask which card we would like to use to make sure funds are available. This is not the main reason for the review. The reason for the review is due to the conversation my wife had with a person named Mike when inquiring about processing the card. When my wife asked questions about the charge, the conversation escalated. My wife asked for the card to be removed from the file, of which Mike refused. Mike also refused to listen, accused the client of not listening to him routinely (when it was fully understood about company policy and he repeated this), and blatantly argued with the client (my wife). I was a bit surprised to hear about the conversation when she called me during work, and while I do not have full information, I can tell you for fact that arguing with any client is poor understanding of the position and customer service 101 in general. There is more to this but due to time, It ends. This is a family orientated business - and this had zero feeling of that former atmosphere. This review is simply based on the employee. Due to this, my wife and I will discuss our options for eye care and see if there are client services elsewhere that have the best client services and attitude.

I've been coming to Dr. Lewis for about 15 years now. Always professional and has great service. Provides options and helps you know what to expect in the future. I'll keep coming back despite the longer drive.
