I have been with Metcalf insurance for 48 years. Which means I have paid car insurance to the tune of about $150,000 to Metcalf. Even with 4 teenage drivers, I would guess the insurance company, MAYBE, paid out about 10-15% of that, which means they profited to the tune of at least $125,000 on me. I never had an accident that was my fault, until the past couple of years, when, on ice, covered with about an inch of snow, I "bumped" into a couple of cars, with minimal damage. Well they came back with $2,900 in damage and $5,000 in damage, which is pure BS. I moving at 5mph or less when I hit their back bumper. Now Metcalf wants to and $2,000 to each of my 3 cars deductibles. Based on how much money they have made off me the past 50 years, I would call that "theft". I don't think they even reviewed the damage lists from the 2 accidents. Thanks for having my back!! Anyway a few minutes ago I changed to Liberty, who was way more professional, and my premiums will be 16% less with $500 deductible on each car. I am so glad my loyalty meant "squat" to Metcalf. GOOD RIDDENS>

Long time customer here, over 17 years! Though that doesnt seem to matter to this agency. I was happy with my Progressive insurance policy that I had for the entirety of my time as a customer. In 2021, I was contacted by email by a staff member suggesting I switch to Nationwide for a savings of $200 a year. I agreed and made the switch. Fast forward to today, and I learn that my policy was cancelled without my knowledge, 4 months earlier. After emailing with Kelie, I was advised that they no longer having writing authority with Nationwide, so my policy was not renewed in October. Nationwide supposedly sent me a letter via post regarding this, but no one at the agency ever bothered to contact me and get me on a new policy. Even just an email to all of their nationwide customers would have sufficed! Today Kelie quoted me on a new policy with progressive, but because of my lack of coverage and the loss of my previous discounts, the policy was too expensive. I feel like the agency dropped the ball here, it seems strange they wouldnt want to keep a customer of 17 years on a policy. If Im going to have to do the legwork, there is no point in working with an agent who isnt earning my commission. So I went self service with GEICO and got a policy much lower than what I was quoted with these guys.
