UT Health East Texas HOPE Breast Center

The care I received for Breast 3D Mammography was good. But their billing practices are different. The Doctor bill is covered by Insurance, but they also bill for Hospital Charges which are not covered and applied to Deductible. It took 6 months and 10 phones calls (leaving messages for return phone calls doesn't work). So after holding for 1 hr & 15 min the final result and my only option was to pay the bill in full. The Agent Phil explained everything very well. They should explain the charges up front vs sign here and there. Never a care or customer service issue just billing issues.

Recently I had 4 needle biopsys getting ready for surgery. All of the procedures were painful with lidocaine shots given every time. The Stereotactic procedure was the worst as My breast was in a mammogram and the lidocaine shots were injected at the same time under my arm. Dr. Ashton nor the staff prepared me for this procedure so it was a total shock to my mind and body, very much pain and emotional trauma. The worst medical procedure of my life. I will not be back.

I had a mammogram and biopsy done here. The staff is very friendly and professional. I recommend and will choose this place as my "go to" for future regular mammograms.

Too slow and seem to not care you have other things to do besides sit in their waiting area for someone to talk about family genetics! Been waiting after mammogram for 45 minutes!

I had my first mammogram Im May. I had to have a biopsy done on my right breast. Let me tell you, the staff and Doctors at UT Breast Center are AMAZING!!! I felt so comfortable. Dr. Klouda is GREAT! Priscilla was AMAZING! Such a sweet lady. I never felt nervous or fearful. They talked me through every thing that was going on. It was over before I knew it. Painless. I would definitely recommend UT Breast Center for all your breast health. I cant praise the staff enough.
