Journeys

I'm late in writing this review, but I still want to give recognition to Cameron, he's really an asset to the Temple Mall location of Journey's. I went there in mid-February, to find a particular color of "Hey Dudes." Cameron greeted my son and I and asked how he could help us. I told him my son was trying to match his shoes with an outfit he just bought and wasn't sure exactly what color would go best. We gave Cameron the shoe my son liked, and asked him if they had a size 8.5. He went to the back to see if it was available, and after a few minutes, he returned with 3 boxes of Hey Dudes. Cameron said that they didn't have the size we wanted in the shoe my son picked, but he brought out Hey Dudes with similar color schemes, in the size we needed. Cameron actually found a nicer looking color that was solid white, and didn't seem to be on the floor at that time. I appreciated the fact that he had common sense to do that. He's very young and could've just easily come back and said they don't have the size we're looking for and we would've left the store... So we get to the counter and told me that they have no-show socks if I was interested. I took a look at them and they were lower than what my son already has, so I decided to buy them. I liked that they wouldn't peep above the shoe. Cameron asked me for my phone number and I gave it to him thinking that he was adding it for future discounts. He put it in so that I could get the socks at a lower price and this is only possible through the text message. He didn't have to do that. I was unaware of any special deal. I asked him if he was the manager because he seems seasoned in sales. The store manager was next to him and told me that Cameron is a great sales associate, and that he's the actual manager. I liked that Cameron had a natural ability to sense what the customer might need and was easy going. If he stays in sales, he will be very successful. Journey's is a nice store and has lots of variety, but if you didn't have the right person there that night, you wouldn't have gotten that sale.

Excellent shoe store. Excellent service. If they don't have it in your size, they will order it. The store mgr. TAY is very, very good. Military discounts for all veterans too.

I visited the mall in Temple Texas during a visit with my family the week of Thanksgiving 2021. I had no plan to buy anything from Journeys but Tay's warm hello from inside the Journeys store was so inviting that I decided to go in and look around.TAY WAS AMAZING! I had been looking all over for a pair of red crocs. Journeys had some but, unfortunately not in my size. Tay informed me that she was able to do a special order for me and ship them to my home in North Carolina. I was SOLD. Tay was very personal able, took care of my purchase, and provided excellent customer service. If you are ever in Temple mall, make sure visit Journeys! TAY IS THE BEST!!

We felt like we had searched everywhere for a pair of Chacos and had almost given up. By chance we came to the mall and saw that Journeys was still opened and stocked with a great selection of shoes, socks and tops. Jada was quick to help us and find us the sizes we needed. Tay was great at showing us how to adjust the Chacos. Both Tay and Jada made our shopping experience memorable and they are the reason we will think of Journeys first for our shoe shopping needs.
