    We were recommended to Arches my our pediatrician when my oldest daughter was in elementary school and starting to play basketball/trying to heal & prevent rolled ankles- both of our daughters were very athletic and involved in numerous sports throughout elementary, middle school & high school- anytime we had issues with feet/ankles we went to Hanz for recommendations. Fast-forward to college and our oldest daughters first half-marathon- during training her feet were going numb - once again we returned to Arches/Hanz and he did several tests, made recommendations & made her inserts for her shoes - PROBLEM SOLVED - she completed her first half-marathon!! I would recommend Arches to anyone of any change for any foot/feet/ankle/knee/leg/hip/walking/running concern!!! He works with ALL AGES!! Anyone I've recommended has been pleased with their recommendations and treatment just as we were They do stay pretty booked so don't expect a same day appt. Plan ahead.

    omg I made 1 of the biggest mistakes of my (foot) life, I went to the Good Feet Store and paid way to much for some insoles that almost made me not be able to stand much less walk instead of going to ARCHES!!! I di not normally try to bash anyone or place but for what you pay for those insoles good feet store should be ashamed of theirselves... (I could go on & on about them) But instead after hardly being about to walk cause my feet hurt so bad I bit the bullet and went and told Arches what I had done, we went over my old insoles & evaluated my (ugly) feet, he said "I'm not doctor but I believe you have plantar fasciitis". They gave me information & stretchs to do to help it and some of the reasoning for getting it, but i truly believe its because of the insoles The Good Feet store sold me. After the evaluation then about 20-30 mins I walked out with brand new custom made insoles!!! I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! SO DONT THINK ABOUT RETIREMENT ANYTIME SOON HEINZ!!!

    Purchased a $140 pair of sandals on Sat. Put on Sunday, hurt bunion so took off immediately. As they are closed Sun. and Mon., I tried to return Tuesday. I found out NO RETURNS! I was never told this. A small sign is posted and on the receipt. Purchased Brooks for many years. They lost a customer today and also no referrals will be given. I feel every customer should be told NO RETURNS!!

P T, We could have 15 No Return sign's in the Store and tell every customer that there are No Returns on certain shoes, and still they will come in and say they never heard about it and never were told about it (believe me, I talk from experience. We have a large enough sign right next to the cash register were you pay for the shoes and as you state, it also shows the Return policy on the receipt. We are a small business, we do not get special treatment from Shoe Manufactures as do large companies like Walmart. Walmart can take their $6 shoes back and it won't hurt them at all. You have to realize that I have to pay for the shoe, I pay shipping, we spent time with your fitting. If you want to bring back a shoe I can not sell the shoe again. (would you want to buy a used shoe?) Taos will not give me the money back! Why should I eat the cost, when the customer should be able to make an educated desision when they buy the shoe. We suggest footwear, the customer decides if they want to buy them. We can also adjust footwear by stretching the shoe for bunions, hammer toes etc. We are sorry we lost you as a customer but we are glad we could help your foot issues you had when you came in the first time for an evaluation. Not sure if Amazon or any other place can help you with that in the future.Regards,Heinz
