Buyer Beware As a small business owner with service vehicles and a weekend car enthusiast I purchase a lot of vehicles. In the last ten years I have purchased Ford's from Mac Haik (3), Joe Myers (3), College Station (2), Ryan Ford (1), Destiny Ford, an Austin dealership (1) and AutoNation (4). Twenty seven total Ford's in my driveway in 38 years and that is only the Ford's. I recently purchased a used Ford Mustang from this dealership and have never had to deal with dishonesty at this level. After agreeing on a price and proceeding to Finance I was put in front of finance manager, Chris Peter Paul, and the paperless desktop screen to pick a warranty and close the deal. I chose just the Ford ESP plan and nothing else. My "paperwork" was provided to me on a memory stick. After few weeks I loaded the memory stick to print out the paperwork for my file. I only found the correct purchase price on one paper. Everything was altered from what I chose and what I declined and well over $2,000 was added to the amount sent to the finance company. The added items and the cost was hidden and the columns on the paperwork did not add up. I contacted Planet Ford everyday for a week and the finance manager, Chris Peterpaul, never called me back. I contacted the dealership management, George Viney (Jan 7,2022), who said he would look into it. A week later nothing had happened and no one had contacted me so I called George again and he gave me Chris Peterpaul's personal cell phone number. Chris Peterpaul said he would take care of it and did not. I live over an hour away and decided to drive up there (another)week later where Chris Peterpaul assured me it would be taken care of (again) first thing Monday morning, January 26, 2022. On February 9, 2022 a partial credit finally showed up on my account. As of February 22, 2022 the rest of the credit to my account has still not shown up. Although I agreed to the amount of the credit, just to be done in dealing with Planet Ford, the numbers still don't add up correctly. I asked for a new contract to be printed with the correct numbers. Did not get it. Chris Peterpaul told me that the numbers won't add up correctly because of the form they have to use. Really! Don't trust them! Don't trust Mr. Peterpaul! Ask for everything on paper if you're you are purchasing from this dealership.
