Tacky and poor service. Wasnt able to get into the room until well after checkin time. No power during my entire stay. Had an awful experience

I would go back in a heartbeat. The staff members were fun and sweet, and the location was great. The hotel was so clean and adorable, I gave a 4 for the room because the shower had a big crack and they had to move us due to that and no hot water. The room they moved us to was great though. SHOUTOUT TO ADAN, the greatest "Shark Boy" to ever walk this planet!!! He was so helpful and always had a smile on his face. The pool was awesome!!! Get your pool chairs early to solve the low chair availability. First time to SPI and I want to go back a million times. Another perk? you could walk to many restaurants (GO TO MAHI NIC!!) or take the free bus system, which was based right across the street.

We just left Margataville SPI. Loved our stay. Some things could use work. The man that checked us in when we arrived on 4-8-24 was less than enthused and acted like we were an inconvenience. Our bed was pretty firm and both mine and my husbands backs hurt after the second night- but everyone is different. There was remodeling going on on floor 10 right next to our room and we could hear hammering but they stopped at a reasonable time and it didnt bother us at all. The wait staff in the dining area couldve been better- lots of sitting and playing on phones and not getting refills. Now the good- THE VIEWS. Even though it was mostly overcast while we were there it is literal steps to the ocean and we watched the sunrise this morning. Views all around from the rooms are pretty great! The heated pool was awesome and we watched as they cleaned it every morning. The swim up bar was unfortunately closed both days we were there but it was cooler and not as busy and BOZZ at the inside bar more than made up for that! He was amazing; So nice, told us where to find the best shells, taught us about finding crabs at night, even gave us a cup of milk when we needed it since the gift/coffee shop didnt have any. He went above and beyond what he had to do and really made our stay more enjoyable just being so personable! The food at Landshark was very good! Get the Huevos Rancheros for breakfast- you wont be disappointed! Overall, we loved our stay and hope to be back soon!! Nearby activities: If you venture out go to Tom & Jerrys for lunch. Great fish & chips and fish tacos! And great staff!

These Reviews are disturbing not having lights/ electricity and not having hot water since we are about to visit this place in next couple of days. Now im beginning to even think if I should reconsider of having to go on a different hotel. These are not great reviews Im reading about this resort. Im already disappointed! Rooms: Na
