My favorite part about Discovery Village is the absolutely amazing residents. I have the pleasure of working on both the assisted living and the memory care side and both are phenomenal. I'm going to school to be a nurse so this is great preparation for me. Nothing is more rewarding than one of the residents saying they appreciate what you do for them, and they are never too shy to let us know!

I think the people there genuinely care but it's one thing after another. Pool is dirty and consistently closed, fire sprinklers going off, fire alarms blaring, elevators that don't work and the entire outside facade had to be replaced. That was a nightmare.
It seems as if staff is in constant reactive mode. There's not enough down time for them to work on being proactive.
On the brighter side, the dining room has made some nice changes. Residents now order meals from a menu and are served at their table. Prior to this, residents stood in lines for their meals.
Hopefully, things will continue to improve.

Starting off to say, dont be deceived by the reviews almost all of them are from their own staff who were most likely forced to do so. 0/10 stars. If I had to give it a star, it would be 2 stars only because of the hardworking staff thats always overlooked and never appreciated & to the wonderful residents who deserve more. Management will lie and deceive you to began work, they sell broken promises of better pay and fair /equal treatment but in reality they do not care about you!. They praise the terrible lazy workers and ignore the ones who actually care and work hard. Dont waste your time, go to a place where youll be respected for your work and things you do. I repeat half of their reviews are from staff!!!!
