Marquee is a wonderful company to work with. The rentals were beautiful and added such an elegant touch to our party. Mackenzie was prompt in all of her communications and Jeremy was fantastic during drop off and pick up. We will definitely use Marquee in the future and look forward to our next event. Thank you for making the rental process smooth and stress free!

So I recently did an order and two weeks prior to my event I had to cancel my reservation. I made sure to read the contract and nowhere does it mention a restocking fee. Nor was I told about one. It wasn't till the first day i called to cancel I was told there would be a 20% restocking fee. For what I have no clue because It was about weeks in a half at this point before my event. Says she needs to speak to her general manager. Second day, I call I was then told there would be a 25% restocking fee. Third day, I call again and she then tells me her manager said 30%. I don't find this fair when nowhere was a restocking fee mentioned. Then to change it 3 times and go through with it on a Friday. Without my confirmation. Not cool!

I hosted a pretty large event last week and needed to rent multiple items for my event including a large ice chests, waiter trays and stanchions. I requested multiple quotes with different rental businesses in town, but Marquee Event Rentals had some of the best prices and they were very quick to respond. Mackenzie Smetzer was the person helping us through the process and she was very professional. They also gave us some flexibility with the pick-up and delivery dates, which I truly appreciate it! I am most definitely going to be using their services again for any future events and would highly recommend to any event planner out there.

Beware, the lack of professionalism at this company is astounding. First of all, I called and spoke to their sales person, who I expressed what vendors we had coming, our plans, and our head count. I let her know we had never done a tent before and she suggested a size that would work for my needs. My quote (also the invoice that I paid off of) listed in the notes we would get two chandeliers. Delivery day comes and I am told there are no chandeliers on the truck and that there were 6 round tables, despite the invoice that I paid off of saying I paid for 7. Okay, these are minimal things and it is a-okay. They set the tent up and it was WAY too small for my needs. I called and the rep assured me that it would work- I talk to the gentlemen working it and they confirmed there was no space for all of my other vendors. This was on Thursday, they agree to deliver my additional tents on Saturday morning before my event. The rep (who I will not name because I won't risk my review being removed) is insistent that she called me to let me know they were cancelling my delivery 24 hours before my event. I received no calls, and if I were her, I would have emailed my client if I was unable to reach them by phone because they had no issue emailing me to send me invoices. I got put in an AWFUL situation and she did not return my calls Friday night, nor did she email me or call me back on Saturday. Finally, it is Monday and I got to speak to her and I said "You really f---'d me" and she said "I know" so cavalierly. As if she did not almost ruin my Christmas party for my employees and cost me vendor fees for various other services. If they were unable to accommodate, they should have told me on Thursday so that I had more than 12 hours to find a new venue. They lack care, follow through, empathy and professionalism. If they are willing to do this to me, they will do it to others. BEWARE and book anywhere else.
