my family and I came to this location was treated bad by staff management stepped in and took care of business gave my family and I had a totally different outlook on this location whoever made her manager did a awesome job need to hire more employees like her. Very knowledgeable people skills. Excellent, cared about our concerns and addressed them.

Always an amazing experience here :) Marissa is the best and always takes care of me. The staff is all so friendly and know what theyre doing. I wont go anywhere else!

I dont like to submit negative reviews, but I have to warn people about this place. There are many things I can complain about surrounding the entire customer service experience, but mostly I had an awful experience with the optometrist that day, Dr. Rene Altamirano. Extremely rude and arrogant for no reason at all. The guy just seems to hate his job and hate life. The exam itself was so fast and not thorough. I would question the accuracy of the prescription. I had to get a refund.

I was disappointed from the time I walked in. I told the receptionist that I had a 3;00 appt . She asked for vision insurance & I told her I didnt have vision insurance . I asked . You do eye exams free right ? She said only if you buy 2 pairs of glasses . I told her , thats why I came in. Im paying cash . She asked me to fill out a form in the waiting area . I filled out the form and waited for 15 mins. Then she took my form and I followed her to the front ( she never told me to wait in the waiting area until they called me ) so o followed her to the front desk & I just stood there for awhile . Nobody looked up to offer help , . So I asked where am I supposed to go or do now . The receptionist said oh you were supposed to wait in the waiting area until youre called . I asked her . All the way back there ? (Btw, I was using a cane bc Im getting ready to get knee replacement, & I was having trouble walking or standing. ) . There was not one customer in the store then. Nobody offered any help at all . Just then I got an emergency call that I had to tend too. It gave me a good excuse to leave . No customer service from nobody. Im not going back . Ive decided to go to another place ,

BE CAREFUL with this place!!! Have never been to a place as bad as the one La Cantera. Will NEVER go back, neither recommend it to anybody. The eye Dr changed in between my 2 appointments.That fast! First Dr prescribes for my vision with very cheap and unpractical lenses that were giving me extreme headaches. Meanwhile, the second Dr. does a NO BETTER job by prescribing lenses that were causing distortion. They had to do them 3 times by me asking the Dr that did my glasses in an other state I was living at the time. The people working on the floor have NO IDEA of what they're doing. One of them got my glasses ordered in the wrong frame, another one broke them when I went back to have them adjusted. They are a very unacknowledged and have a VERY POOR management!
