        Great historic hotel. Well preserved with thoughtful upgrades. We were in a double queen suite which was perfect. The room was relatively quiet and the amenities are top notch. Location is ideal, easy walk to the Riverwalk, the Alamo, Hemisfair. Lots of great restaurants around.

        Where to start? We stayed two nights and fell in love with the hotel from the first night. From amazing history of the building to most comfortable bed and pillows. The antique yet modern designs and interior. Good coffee right in the room. 4th floor rooftop bar. The location of the hotel is also great. It is easily accessible to the river walk and sits right across from La Villita and very close to the Tower of the Americas.
