SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Antonio Northwest at The RIM

This is a wonderful hotel. They only cleaned the room when we requested it and were very helpful and friendly in general. The breakfast was great and the parking lot felt safe and we didn't have any issues with that. This is located in a shopping district with Target, TJ Maxx, Lowe's, and many food options just around the corner. The pool is not heated and was cold even when it was 80 outside. I wondered why there was never anyone in there and that has to be why. We definitely would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Before I get to the bad, I just want say how great this hotel was overall. The AC for the room was amazing, and the bed was very comfortable. Never can go wrong with a King size after all. The only issues that I had with my stay was the shower and the carpet. The showerhead definitely needs to either be cleaned or replaced. It was either a painful jet or mist shooting out or 3 painful streams. I had to adjust it between two setting to make it a decent shower. More importantly though, the carpet. If you walked around in that room barefoot you best believe your feet would be black. I was honestly surprised by this seeing how the rest of the hotel was so nice. The carpet in the room I was in definitely needs to be shampooed.
