I have had takeout from Meemo's and enjoyed it, so was interested to go there for brunch the Saturday before Memorial Day. It wasn't crowded and service was excellent, but I can't say the same for the food. I had the croque madame with hollandaise - basically a Monte Cristo with an egg and hollandaise on top. The French toast tasted slightly burned, and the hollandaise was watery. My breakfast potatoes were WAY too salty. My son had chicken and waffles - the waffles looked like frozen waffles which had been put through the toaster, and he said the chicken was apparently frozen nuggets. My daughter-in-law's goat cheese and spinach omelet was good, but she ordered potatoes with it and got fruit salad. I got a carrot cupcake as we were leaving (full disclosure, it was free so I shouldn't complain too much, but...) and it had apparently NO spices in it, no pineapple, and no nuts. Also, I was told the frosting was cream cheese but it tasted like plain old buttercream to me. Disappointed in the experience, especially after, as I said, such good takeout previously.

I love to support small businesses and local companies, but this place is the definition of why small companys inevitable fail. Charge and arm and a leg for a 12 cake. 85$+. Only to receive a cake thats obviously been sitting for hours if not days. Stale and flat. Disappointed to serve people this. No amount of coconut flakes can cover up that stale bread. Please shop elsewhere arrogant owner just wants cash to do her nails.
