I went to see Dr. Riggs for TMJ issues and did not have the best experience. First off, the office was extremely antiquated and not very well-kept up (in fact, one of the mirrors in the back was being held together with dental floss and the chair I was put in barely worked), and the staff wasnt very pleasant. I went for a consultation and then back again for a follow-up a few months later, and he didnt even remember I had been in for the consultation, even when he looked at his notes. What he did for my TMJ problems didnt even work and I feel like we paid for him to not leave me any better than when I walked in and to forget me in the process. We didnt go back after the second visit. The only reason Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because I found out later that he actually did accurately diagnose issues with my jaws that were finally corrected surgically.

Dr Riggs has fabulous bedside manner.  He treats you like a person, a patient, someone who matters to him.  He takes time & is thorough.  TMJ docs are almost all out of pocket, which can be costly, but I feel that my appointment was well worth the cost, as he is a wonderful provider.  He seems very knowledgeable. His front office staff is kind & helpful too.
